Reading Test

How it works:

• Mastery score (0–5): Each kanji gets a reading mastery score from your past Reading Tests. Both on'yomi and kun'yomi contribute — getting both right raises it; missing both lowers it.
• Weighted selection: With Mastery Focus on, kanji with lower scores are chosen more often — so you see your weak spots more frequently.
• Separate from Writing: Reading mastery is tracked independently. Mastery Focus here uses only your Reading Test history, not Writing Test results.
• Separate scores: Reading mastery is tracked separately from Writing Test mastery — this focus uses only your reading results.
• Separate scores: Reading mastery is tracked separately from Writing Test mastery — this focus uses only your reading results.
• First time? If you haven't taken any Reading Tests yet, all kanji have equal chance (random). Mastery Focus starts to matter after you've done a few tests.
• Separate from Writing: Reading mastery is tracked independently from the Writing Test. This focus uses only your reading (on'yomi & kun'yomi) results.
• Separate from Writing: Reading mastery is tracked independently from the Writing Test. This focus uses only your Reading Test history.
